The Cockpit
The simulator is based on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft. The main advantage is that students get acquainted with lay-out, systems, philosophy and complexity of modern airliners while working towards specific training objectives.
All systems are functional and provide the full logic as present in this type of aircraft. Both the flight model, ground model and engine model are realistically replicated.
The device is standard equipped with a LED direct projection visual system but can optionally be upgraded with a collimated visual system including Level-D IG.

When acquiring an Aviatify FTD 1, customers will get a full replica of the Airbus A320 ceo or neo. As per latest EASA regulations, training on an FTD 1 can earn students a maximum of 20 hours of type-rating credits. Imagine the vast cost saving advantages, relative to the use of a FFS.

The Cockpit
Our FTD 1 simulates the Airbus A320 ceo or neo in full. The cockpit is equipped with all (simulated) panels, lights and switches.
Most components in the simulator are used more intensely than in the real aircraft. After all: how often do you use the Fire Panel or Manual Gear Lever in real life?
Therefore, we have integrated robust and durable components, designed for “true to nature” appearance and tactile characteristics. Our FTD 1 device holds Level-D fidelity side-sticks and rudders and provides an immersive, real life A320 flight experience.

The Aviatify FTD 2 – FAA level 6 FTD is our pedigree model. It is an exact replica of the Airbus A320 ceo or neo. On our FTD 2, students can earn over 50 percent of their type-rating credits. A great and versatile flight training device that will serve in a reliable and immersive fashion in a broad spectrum of training programs. Our FTD 2 – FAA level 6 FTD, like our FTD 1 simulates the Airbus A320 ceo or neo in full.
The cockpit is equipped with all (simulated) panels, lights and switches. In addition to our FTD 1, the FTD 2 features functional CB panels. This means that all CB’s that have a visual, audible and/or tactile effect in the cockpit, are replicated.
The total package leads to an unmatched fidelity level, suitable for all kinds of flight training. We have integrated robust and durable components, designed and engineered for 'true to nature' appearance and tactile characteristics.
Our FTD 2 device is equipped with 'as per aircraft' side-sticks and rudders with CLS and provides an immersive, real life A320 flight experience.

Due to its relative complexity and because of its decisive role in flight management and flight guidance, it is evident that FMS training is an integral part of flight training. Through a unique partnership, Aviatify offers a turn-key hardware/software FMS trainer for use in class-rooms or for individual desk training.
The trainer consists of a physical robust, durable and realistic replica of an MCDU. 100% functional and just like 'the real deal'. In addition, the trainer includes a large led monitor with table stand. The display shows all necessary cockpit components (interactive) and presents PFD and ND including FMA annunciations.
The kit can be deployed in minutes and offers trouble-free efficient training. An optional carry-on case allows for the kit to be transported in a safe and comfortable manner. This comes in particularly handy if ATOs or Airlines want to facilitate from-home-training for their students.
If so desired, Aviatify can also provide a 100% software based FMS trainer. Individual or bulk licenses are available and a variety of subscriptions is available to best suit your needs.
Upgrade Solutions
We believe in long term partnerships. This starts with mutual willingness to invest in each other’s future. Depending on starting point, financial background and strategy, customers may want to 'grow with the flow'.
This means that Flight Schools or ATOs start with a generic device used for e.g. ME, IR or JOC training and want to upgrade over time to an MCC – FAA level 5 FTD device and later to the highest level of Fixed Base Devices, the FTD 1 or FTD 2 – FAA level 6 FTD.
For owners of VIER IM POTT flight simulators, Aviatify offers upgrade kits. These packages contain (partial) hardware upgrades, software upgrade, additional IOS features, eQTG functionality and, for FTD 1 and FTD 2- FAA level 6, integration of an Airbus data pack, required for Type Specific (A320 CEO or NEO) qualification. Aviatify also facilitates upgrade of the visual system to a collimated visual system.
